Yes, yes...I know I know...

I really really want to do this "thang"!  I actually have been working on things "offline" to make it easier to get back to this!  I would rather blog than have all the other "social" sites...to be quite honest!  Sometimes those sites drive me crazy...but that's another story for another day...maybe...

This past year has been one of the busiest, craziest years I think our family has ever had!  Something major almost every single month!
January-well was January...cold, and cold.  Also was getting prepared for a March wedding.
February-My youngests birthday, wedding showers, still preparing for wedding (I was decorating the reception hall)
March-wedding and my middle man's 16th birthday (I really need to come up with pseudonyms for my kiddos), wedding...bridal shower for next wedding
April-wedding, again I am decorating, getting ready for graduation
May-Oldest graduates high school, grad party
June-sort of recuperate...but it was still a crazy busy month
July-oldest's 18th birthday, hubby's birthday, our wedding anniversary, oldest in fire academy
August-Church Campmeeting, Oldest graduates fire academy (scored highest in his class on his state test...sorry had to insert that little "proud momma moment"), 2 youngest boys ended up in hospital...middle mas was really really sick!  Worst he's ever been.  (doing way way better now)
September-What!  wait!  That's this month!  ALREADY!!!????  Whoa!  Starting school, get togethers with friends, gardening with my dad, canning, freezing, preserving, purging, fall garage sale, and some other major things going on...and it doesn't look like the rest of this year is going to be much different!  But we are all happy and alive and I'm thankful for that!

My children are very quickly growing up and turning into young men...makes me sad, but it's also exciting to see what they want to do with their lives...what God is making out of them.  Oldest....how about "Firefighter"...has completed EMT training, and Fire academy (which he absolutely LOVED BTW), he is currently enrolled in Paramedics classes, and has landed a job with one of the local fire stations.  He loves his job and that makes me happy!  He is enjoying his field and that is important to me.

Hubby is enjoying his new job...very much.  It was definitely a job from God!  The timing of everything has been wonderful!

I am getting ready to start some "makeover" projects.  I will keep you updated.  Here is a teaser...I spray painted this vase yesterday...forgot to take a before pic, but it was a splattered looking burgundy and black.  It's really more an aqua color than blue...but pic wants it to be blue.

Hope you all have a very blessed and enjoyable day!
